Script2Screen — Making scripts better

Screenplay development

Every draft remembered. Every report measured.

Script2Screen gives each screenplay its own Development Executive. It reads every draft, scores it, tracks the notes you act on and measures your progress from one draft to the next.

How it works

From draft to draft, measured.

Script2Screen follows the way a screenplay really develops: write, get notes, rewrite, and see what the rewrite achieved.

  1. 1

    Upload a draft

Add your screenplay to its own project as a text-based PDF. Every draft you add is kept.

  2. 2

    Submit it for assessment

A report runs only when you choose. A Writer’s Brief tells the assessment what you are aiming for.

  3. 3

    Read your Development Report

Scores, strengths and the areas to develop, stored with the report and compared draft to draft.

  4. 4

    Work through the actions

Each note becomes a Development Action you resolve, or decline with a recorded creative decision.

  5. 5

    Talk it through

Your Development Executive knows the project, its drafts and your decisions, and picks up where you left off.

Why Script2Screen

Notes that remember the last draft.

  • A Development Executive for each project

It remembers your drafts, reports, Development Actions and creative decisions, and never mixes one project with another.

  • Reports you can compare

Submit a draft when you are ready. Scores are stored with each report and shown the same everywhere, so progress is measured, not guessed.

  • Your creative control

Decline a recommendation with a recorded creative decision, and your Development Executive respects it from then on.

  • Your work stays yours

Every project is private to its writer. Earlier drafts, reports and actions are kept as they were, never overwritten.

Progress

See how far the screenplay has come.

Every report is kept with the draft it assessed. Upload the next draft and the comparison shows what changed and which notes you resolved.

Who it is for

For every writer in the room.

  • Writers and production companies

Develop a screenplay across drafts with an individual plan: a 14-day trial, monthly or annual.

    See pricing
  • Film schools and colleges

Give students access through licences in blocks of 10. Administrators manage licences only and never see students’ work.
